Poolside helpers and volunteer coaches

Pool side helpers - these are normally swimmers from more senior squads who are willing and able to volunteer at sessions and be another set of eyes on swimmers. Many of our swimmers have then gone on to take their swim teaching or coaching qualifications once they turn 16. 

Volunteer coaches - the idea is that if any parents have an interest in becoming involved in swimming or already have a swim coaching/ teaching qualification, then they would assist a coach pool side. They would not coach the swimmers initially but would watch the swimmers and tell the coach when they can see a swimmer that needs assistance with something. Ideally, we would like a volunteer attached to each squad, however parents would not work with the squad that their children are in. 

We are also very short of qualified coaches and are really struggling to cover our academy sessions, particularly in Buckingham, so if anyone can help out with this or knows someone who might be able to help, at any level, would be welcome and can contact Tom or myself for a chat.
